BRIEF 05 -
SOCIAL MEDIA
ROLLIN’ CAR INSURANCE
THE ASK: Create a social media idea, sticking within the Meta ecosystem.
PROPOSITION: Now anyone can borrow your car.
INSIGHT: Parking is a common driving weakness: 36% of Australian drivers surveyed by Compare The Market reported needing at least two attempts at a parking space before getting it right. In simple terms, we are not a nation of excellent parkers, but we are honest about it…
IDEA: An Instagram that judges your friends’ parks and reminds you that no matter how bad they are, they’ll always be covered with ROLLiN’.
P.A.M
THE PARKING ALIGNMENT MEASURE BY ROLLiN’
HOW IT WORKS…
1.Open Instagram and head to story filters.
2.Hold the filter over your mate’s park.
3.Wait for P.A.M to rate your mate’s park on a scale of 1 to 10 and await the verdict: can they drive your car with ROLLiN’?
4.They sure can! Click the button to head to the ROLLiN’ landing page where you can sign up and add a new driver to your policy.
COUPLE OF NOTES ON brief 05…
A moment of silence for the people in their late 20s who still can’t drive.
I was a little shocked that AWARD School pulled out TWO automobile-related briefs for a generation of people who are increasingly eschewing motor vehicle transport. But I guess I’m glad they did, because this gave me an opportunity to flex just how good I am at reverse-parallel parking in my tutorial.
