THE ASK: Come up with direct advertising idea that gets car lovers to get all their auto gear at Supercheap Auto.
PROPOSITION: With over 10,000 items, you’ll always find something new for your car.
INSIGHT: Some people’s cars are dumpsters for the wrappers from the Macca’s drive-through.
IDEA: A McDonald’s bag that lets you know when you need to go to Supercheap Auto to get some car cleaning products…

HOW IT WORKS…
Collaborate with McDonald’s print a code and message on their bags: the catch is that this message only appears after 7 days inside your car.
After those 7 days inside the car have passed, you’ll see the QR code and the message.
The bag holder can then head to Supercheap Auto and scan the code at checkout for 20% off!

So this would be totally possible, but we need to use magic.
Like most AWARD School ads, this could never get made. But if you gave me a budget, some external validation, and a voucher for McCafe coffee, I could probably work out how to make the secret thermo-whatever ink.
